From iron to straw ... This is the story of the Papeterie de Vaux, created in 1861 on the site of two old forges to produce rye straw paper. Discover this Historic Monument, the last factory in France to present an intact paper manufacturing line, witness to the industrial era of the last century.
You can create your own hand-crafted paper (from 3 years) during the workshops in the museum, or take part in other creative arts workshops around paper (binding, glue paper, marbling, origami, ...), and linocut during the school holidays.
